Wilma “Tina” (Franklin) Urfer
Together Again.
Wilma “Tina” (Franklin) Urfer, 80 years of age, of New Philadelphia passed away December 14, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s at Northwood Village Inn of Dover, Ohio. Born in Huron Ohio July 31, 1940 to the late Glenn Sr. Franklin and Edna (Coon) Garner of Huron, Ohio. She married Robert “Bob” Urfer December 15, 1962 and enjoyed 48 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2011. Tina’s hobbies were Fishing; the Semi-Professional Bass Masters circuit on the eastern side of the country from Texas to Ohio. She also was avid in gardening, hand crafted dolls, and cards.
Survived by two children: Scott (Lori) Urfer and Deb (Jim) Albright.
In keeping with Tina’s wishes there will be no memorial service, public visitation, or services of any kind. Cremation care will be conducted through Heritage Cremation. Memorial contributions in Tina’s name may be directed to Alzheimer’s Research or Community Hospice Truman House 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
