2 Tributes to William “Bill” R. Gamble Sr.

  1. Kim Baker says:

I met Bill in 1990 at Chuck’s with my friend Liz. I was instantly enamored of him…..he could be so gruff but so endearing at the same time. I grew to love Bill. He took me to Daytona in 1992 where I had the time of my life. We had a lot of laughs with his friend Fred who is also a dear. Bill became a very good friend and saw me through some very rough times. It breaks my heart that we lost touch after 2006 (due to me having to get my “sh..” together) and that I never knew he was ill. Bill was a good and decent man and a good father….I know he loved all of his children very much. Val, if you ever need anything or just want to talk, please call me. My number is 330-400-1423. Love you guys. Kim Baker.

  2. Dave says:

I worked with Bill and eventually began riding with him when I purchased my Fatboy in 2001. My gosh what a time we had making it to all those places. Seemed Bill knew no strangers, and always found someone he knew where ever the road took us. I’ll always remember Bill as a good friend and one hell of a good dude. And I will miss him greatly.
