Thomas L. Dolan

Thomas L. Dolan sadly passed away at age 74, on July 31st, 2021. He was born January 3rd, 1947 in Akron, Ohio and lived most of his life in the Akron and Columbus areas. Tom entered the Army in 1963. While stationed at Fort Knox, he appeared in the film “Goldfinger”. He proudly served in Vietnam until 1967. Tom attended four years at Kent State University starting in 1970. Later at NEC School for Maintenance and HVAC. He worked many years for Dominoes and Securitas Security. A “Mr. Fix-It”, he excelled in electric and plumbing. Tom cherished his dogs and would take them for daily runs at Ascot and BJ’s. Tom was a happy person and always had a positive outlook.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Margret Dolan and his grandparents.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Linda; beloved sisters, Gwen Clinton and Kathy Marcelli; many dear nieces and nephews; “brother”, Mark; dear friend, Pearl; his family at the farm; good friends, Barb, Barry and Sharon, his caring neighbors, Ellen and Laurie and above all, Fremont and Catsworth.

We are grateful to all his healthcare angels. His caring team at VA, NP Mahvong, nurses, Julie and Josh; wonderful nurses at Akron General Second Floor, special nurses and aides at Arbors at Streetsboro, and everyone at Brookdale Hospice.
