Thomas E Griffith

Thomas Evans Griffith (Swift) 65, native of Canfield and resident of Salem Ohio, departed this world Jan 27 at Essex Care after a long illness. A graduate of Canfield High School 1969 and Choll­Choffin Trades School he was a welder at EW Bliss and Electric Furnace. One of the founders of YBMW Motorcycle Club, he could be seen riding in all weather and year ­round when not playing his acoustic guitar or watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Jeanne (Gardner) Griffith of Canfield. He is survived by his pride and joy (US Marine) Sarah Jayne Griffith of Salem,brothers Derek A. Smith and Gary L. Griffith and friend and former wife Pamm Seroka. A Celebration of Tom Swift will be held Sunday Feb 7th at The Side Door 530 S. Broadway Salem Ohio from 2­4.
