Stephen Maruschak
Stephen Maruschak age 98 passed away on May 12, 2022. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers John, George, Theodore and Peter and by sisters Eva Vilke, Ann Kluba and Catherine Rupert.
He served on the destroyer USS Wickes DD578 as Carpenters Mate 2C during WWII. He continued in carpentry after his service and retired from EF Hauserman. He was an expert carpenter and was known by friends and neighbors as the guy who could fix anything.
His cremated remains will be entombed in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on June 7, 2022 at 1:45PM with a Navy Honors Ceremony. Please send donations to your local Wounded Veterans’ organization.
