Stanley John Niemiec
Stanley John Niemiec passed away August 23, 2020 in Parma, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Jean Niemiec. Survived by his sisters Jean McGann, Nancy Glihe and Carol Christine as well as several nieces and nephews.
Stanley received his Masters degree in teaching from Cleveland State University and taught for the Cleveland City School District until retirement in 2008. He was a brilliant historian publishing a book during Cleveland’s bicentennial in 1996 that depicted historical events during Cleveland’s early days. He enjoyed collecting various war artifacts, building models of airplanes and ships that depicted various theaters of battle throughout history. He enjoyed discussing his political views and would frequently be heard expressing them on Cleveland area talk radio. Stanley will be sadly missed by his friends and family.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery 14609 Brookpark Rd. Brook Park, Ohio on Saturday September 5, 2020. Graveside service will begin at 2:00 pm. A luncheon in his honor will immediately follow.
