
Shirley A Stamm, age 93 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday May 23, 2023 at her home. She was born September 12, 1929 in Bergholz, Ohio to the late William and Lillian Williams. She attended Eastern Elementary grade school and was a graduate of McKinley High School where she was a member of the Honor Society. Shirley was President of the Gibbs School PTA 1970-1972; she served as President and Treasurer of the Canton Chapter DeMolay Mothers Club 1979-1983; and was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church where she was a member of the Alter Guild and Secretary of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Women. She enjoyed ice skating, bowling, baking and in recent years, watching Cleveland Cavaliers basketball.
Shirley was preceded in death by husband of 46 years, Richard; sisters, Marjorie Kolisar and Cathy Postel.
She is survived by sons, Douglas (Laura) Stamm of Louisville, Brian (Tammy) Stamm of East Canton; grandchildren, Chelsea (Stephen), Tyler (Adam); great-granddaughter, Aliah; sister, Alice Burlingame; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirley’s family will receive friends Saturday, May 27, 2023, 11:00 am – 1:00pm at Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Private interment will be held at Sunset Hills Burial Park. A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at a future date. A special thanks to Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the NEO American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
