Shelly Renae (Smith) Striker

Following a long, hard, courageous battle with cancer Shelly Renae (Smith) Striker, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on February 15, 2021 at the age of 48. Shelly attended Indian Valley School District prior to being employed at Wayne Dalton DSI Door Systems for 7 years then owned and operated S&S Cleaning Services for 15. Shelly enjoyed being crafty and was exceptionally talented at making floral arrangements. Beyond all, she loved spending time with family and bonding one on one with each of her four grandchildren. Shelly was a fighter who never gave up. She faced obstacles head on in life regardless how difficult they proved to be. Her ability to be so strong and positive throughout having a terminal illness was extraordinary and something to be admired. Words cannot describe how much Shelly is loved and will forever be missed. She will always be on loved one’s minds and forever in their hearts. She is preceded in death by an infant son (Peanut).

Shelly was an amazing wife of 35 years to David Striker III; mother of David (Kendra) Striker IV and Brittany Striker; grandmother to Emma, Paxton, David Striker V and Taylor Hagloch; daughter of Julie (Warner) Cerana and David Smith; and sister to Heather (Brandon) Estlund.
