Sheila Mcintyre (Nee Mcintyre)
Sheila McIntyre (nee McIntyre), 78, born March 16, 1941, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Brunswick.
She is survived by her children, Robert L. Himmel, Jr., Stacy E. Himmel, Darcy L. Himmel and Patti Kelbly Himmel; grandchildren, Joseph Hocevar, Shane Himmel and Adam Hocevar; great-granddaughter, Annabeth Beard; nephew, Brian McIntyre; neice, Robin Wiggins and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Richard A. Himmel and brother, Raymond McIntyre.
Sheila’s life was intertwined with travel and scuba diving around the world. She retired from teaching only after having started her own scuba diving business, which thrived until she closed it to move to Cozumel, Mexico, where she had lived for almost 20 years.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Church in Brunswick on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 12 Noon, with a celebration of her life immediately after.
