In Loving Memory of Sheila Higgs

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sheila Higgs, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Sheila departed this world on November 25, 2023, at 76, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.

Beloved wife of John; loving mother of Heather Sayers (Michael) and John Higgs (Stacie); dearest grandmother of Kolton Higgs. Shiela was preceded in death by her mother and father Cathrine and Michael Kopko. Private family services were held. 

Sheila's love extended beyond her immediate family, encompassing a wide circle of friends. Her warm heart and genuine interest in others created bonds that will be cherished forever. Whether it was a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or a simple act of generosity, Sheila's impact was felt far and wide.

As we mourn the loss of Sheila, let us remember the joy she brought into our lives and the love she shared so freely. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will live on in the memories we hold dear.

A celebration of Sheila's life will be held on December 17, 2023, at the Columbia Station VFW. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice in Sheila's name.

May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so generously gave during her time with us.
