Shawn Christopher Dulaney

We are sad to announce the passing of Shawn Christopher Dulaney. He died at the age of 62 on April 10, 2023, in his hometown of Sagamore Hills, OH. He is survived by his siblings Greg, Kim Hackett (Bill), Rod (Karen), Ryan (Sue), and Todd, a son Nick (Alex), a daughter Beth (Tim) and a grandson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Judy Dulaney.

Shawn was a fun-loving guy and an avid Cleveland sports fan. He loved catching a baseball game with his kids and spending Sundays with his siblings cheering on the Browns. Shawn was a skilled drum player and in his free time, you could find him playing at weddings and on cruise ships or just drumming along to The Beatles any chance he had. He loved surprising people when he said he’d been playing for 55 years! He also enjoyed spending the weekends fishing with his brothers and the dogs.

A ‘Celebration of Life’ will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the Northfield VFW Post 6768 Pavilion at 8584 Olde 8 Rd. Northfield, OH 44067 from 2 – 8pm. There will be a short prayer service held at 3:30pm. All are welcome to come and share their favorite memories of Shawn with us.
