Sharon Sutherland

Sharon Sutherland, born August 16, 1943, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, following a brief illness with cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Scott Kocher, and father, Lloyd Scutt, both of Corning, New York.

Sharon is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, David; sons, Chester and Eric, all of Canton, Ohio; brother, Bill (Mary Alice) Kocher, Marsha (Chester) Tuttle, and Mark (Jackie) Kocher, all of Corning, New York; sister-in-law, Gayle (Richard) Smith, of North Canton; brother-in-law, Robert (Belta) Sutherland, of Henderson, Nevada; grandchildren, Sarah Sutherland, Courtney (Nathan) Emerson, all of Akron, Melissa Sutherland, of Oregon, David Sutherland of Columbus; and great-grandson, Oliver Emerson.

Sharon was employed by the federal government in Washington, DC, and later as the branch manager for Citizens Savings, Hillsdale office; a successful career she enjoyed very much for many years.
