Scott A. Miles

On July 16

th

, 2020 we lost Scott Miles- our loving, generous and fiercely loyal son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.  Scott passed away peacefully on July 16, 2020 in Medina at home with his daughters by his side.

Scott was born May 22, 1962 in Lakewood, OH and resided in the Northeast Ohio area throughout his life.  He was a skilled builder and contractor and loved to work with his hands.  Those that knew Scott best will remember his relentless sense of humor, strong work ethic, and constant willingness to protect others and help a friend in need.  Scott loved his family, classic rock music, animals, gardening, cooking, fishing, boating on Lake Erie and was happiest when he was helping someone else.  Scott lived life on his terms, had an infectious laugh, boyish charm and relished the joy in telling a great story.  He will leave behind a legacy of loyalty, generosity, hard work and finding humor in all things.  He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Scott is survived by his mother, Geri Frimel; his daughters, Jennifer O’Reilly and Christie (George) Miles-Patterson; his sisters, Susan (Tim) Barger; Mary Ann (Mark) Richardson; brother, George Bryant; grandchildren, Lucas, Reese and Nathan; and many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to Lisa, Tim and Julie from Continuum Care Hospice who provided unwavering kindness, care and support to Scott and his family in his final weeks.  Upon his wishes, Scott was cremated with no services planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his name to Continuum Care Hospice 12380 Plaza Drive, Ste 102 Parma, OH 44130 216-898-8444
