Ryan Michael Hobbs

• Ryan Michael Hobbs, age 40, passed into his peace on March 19 , 2024, at Cleveland Clinic, Akron General Hospital.  He was an organ donor, so as his final act of giving, he blessed others in need.

Born December 7, 1983, in Barberton Ohio, he was a lifelong resident.  Preceded in death by the love of his life, Nickoal  Kintyhtt, Ryan was a devoted single father to his young children.  They were his life.  Loving, kind, generous, and funny, he was loved by those who knew him, and he will be deeply mourned by many.

Ryan was also preceded in death by his grandparents, James H. and Patricia Hobbs; great-grandparents, Walter and Bonnie Mervine, uncle, James M. Hobbs; and cousins, Misty McClelland, Mark Mcclelland, Jaclynn Hobbs, and Jackson Kufchak..  His mother, Bonnie Hobbs, passed away just weeks after him.  

He is survived by his daughter, Serenity, and son, Zayden.  Also left to cherish his memory are his father, Mark (Cheryl) Ellington; uncle, Walther Hobbs; aunts, Mickie Brown and JoAnna (Mark) McClelland; cousins, Karia (Craig) Lanken, Patricia (Jerome) Dean, Jamie Medina, Sara Hobbs, Heather (Nick) Fling, Jesse (Lindsay) Hobbs, Jillian Gowdy, and Sissy McClelland; his great-aunt Elsie Knight; numerous second cousins, including Rickie (Linda) Knight, Kellie (Rick) Cunningham, and April Knight; and many other loving cousins, extended family, friends and neighbors. 

Cremation has taken place.  A graveside service will be held May 4, at 11:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Cemetery, 2580 Romig Rd., in conjunction with the service for his mother, Bonnie Hobbs.  Their remains will be interred together.
