Ronald Houser

Ronald Andre Houser, 87, of Strongsville, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 23, 2023. Ron was born and raised in West Pittston, PA and graduated from Wheaton College and the University of Michigan. Ron retired as an elementary music educator with Eastpoint Community Schools in Michigan. Ron served as an organist/pianist at many churches in the Detroit area, most notably Highland Park Baptist Church (Southfield, MI), Covenant Baptist Church (West Bloomfield, MI), and First Baptist of Dearborn, MI. Ron was predeceased by his wife, June (Petree), in 1998. He is survived by his loving family; children: Bonnie Eggers (Jeff),  Rhonda Balaban (Scott), Edwyn Frank Houser, and Joy Norma Houser; grandchildren: Cameron, Amanda, Savannah, Joshua, Julia, Brennan and Adam; nephews/nieces: Kendra Cosgrove (Dallas, PA), David Houser (Bellevue, WA), Doug Houser (Toms River, NJ), Jackie Faoro (Henderson, NV) and James Houser (Redmond, WA) and their respective families.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Covenant Baptist Church, 5800 West Maple Road, West Bloomfield, MI at 12:30pm preceded by time to greet the family at noon.
