Roberta “Bobbie” Klotz, age 78, of Canton passed away January 4, 2021, after a short illness. She was born on January 25, 1942 in Warren, Ohio to the late Aurel and Aurelia Russ. Bobbie was a 1960 graduate of McKinley High School.

Bobbie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, her home was an open door to all. Her sense of humor is going to be missed by anyone that crossed her path. She also enjoyed her Card Club, Garden Club, and various hobbies.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Byrd and a great-grandchild, Kaden Smith.

Bobbie is survived by her husband, Blane Klotz to whom she was married 57 years; four sons, Brian (Joni), Bruce (Karen), Brad (Erika), Bret (Barb); 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; one sister Sandra Hopple; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Bobbie’s wishes she will be cremated with no services. A Celebration of Life will be held in 2021 after Covid restrictions have been relaxed and/or lifted. An announcement will be published when that date is determined.

    We’ll never forget Bobbi. We were her neighbors for 10 years, and knew of her loving ways. She couldn’t have been kinder to us sharing her home-made food and conversations over the years. She was an angel her on earth! God bless you, Bobbi. May you enjoy your heavenly reward!

You were my husband’s work Mom. ❤️ They say the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and that couldn’t be more true with your sons who are so family oriented and fun loving just like You!.     Mrs K was truly the heart of the Klotz family. She had a fun-loving personality and great wit!! She was the best cook!! I don’t know how she did it, but she could make instant mashed potatoes taste gourmet!! She was a rock-star at couponing and rebates!! She always had good intentions in all she did and a very caring side to her. She will be missed by many, and my heart goes out to her husband and sons. May you rest in peace Mrs K!!

    We were very sad to read the Repository that Roberta (Bobbie) has passed. She was truly a wonderful wife, mother & secretary. Always smiling, laughing & could always find a positive outcome of any situation. I worked 20+ years for Forrest, Blane & Bobbie at Canton Electric. My wife and I were very happy to know her. Bobbie will be missed, but loved forever.

    Just found the notice of Bobbie’s passing, such a sad time for her family. I know Bobbie from high school, all the good times we had in Senior Band. She was a blessing for all that knew her, I’m sure she will be missed at our 60th Reunion that is being planned for this summer. Sending prayers for her family.
