Robert J. Gant 54 of Rootstown passed away suddenly at UH Portage Medical Center with family surrounding him. He was born April 14,1969 at Green Cross Hospital and passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, John Sr and Carol Gant, brothers, John Jr and Michael and sister, Kim.
He is survived by his wife, Cyndi, his sons, Bobby Lee of WV, Trevor of Ohio, Clifton of WV, and James of Ohio, his brother and sisters, Tina Gant, Shawn Gant and Tabby Eichhorn, Melissa and James Clemens, Carole and James McDowell, and Gabrielle Gant all of Ohio; his companion, Bear and Christina.
Bobby enjoyed fishing and cookouts going out on the boat, he loved spending time with his family especially his brother, Shawn. He also enjoyed going up to Kenny's shop and spending some past time with Kenny's old cars watching them get ready for the car shows.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Bobby on April 14th, at 5992 Susan Lane Ravenna, Ohio at 2pm with brother Dustin Vanhoose spreading the love. Everyone is welcome to come join us.
