Richard “Ricky” D. Neff

Richard “Ricky” D. Neff 45 of Akron, Ohio passed away Sunday afternoon January 27, 2019 at his daughter’s home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Ravenna, Ohio June 7, 1973 to Richard and the late Roaslie Neff. Richard worked many different jobs throughout his life. He cherished the time he spent with his children. Found his happiness listening to music and watching the trains in downtown Kent. He enjoyed attending AA and the fellowship it had to offer.

I am wise because I’ve been foolish

….and I can laugh because I’ve known sadness

He is survived by his children, Brandon Long 26, Sara Chandler 19, and Emilee Chandler 16; his two sisters, Corean Gower and Stacy Szudlo and numerous friends and extended family. Per his request cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery in Ravenna at a later time.
