Richard Lee Reardon

June 11, 1954 — January 18, 2024

New Philadelphia

Richard Lee Reardon passed away on January 18, 2024. Rich was born June 11, 1954 to the late Hugh & Betty(Glazier) Reardon.   He was a 1973 graduate of New Philadelphia.  Richard worked at the Pepsi Plant, worked construction & retired after 40 years of service at the Timken Company.  He was a member of USW.  He was also a social member of the New Philadelphia VFW, where he spent most of his time. Rich enjoyed riding his motorcycle, golfing & going fishing.  His greatest accomplishment was his “Boy”.

Rich is survived by his wife, Dana Reardon, son, Drake Reardon, stepson, Lucas(Ariel) Pompey, mother-in-law, Donna Smith, and brother-in-law, Damon Smith.  Rich also had a special fatherly bond with Drake’s friends, Carson Cole & Anthony Bilardo. He also leaves behind a close friend, Charles Lewis(Loui).

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Reardon, sister, Barbara Ann, and father-in-law, Darrel Smith.

Richard’s wishes were to be cremated.  The family will have a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to any First Federal Bank for the benefit of his son, Drake Reardon.
