Richard Kainec

Richard Joseph Kainec, born February 18th, 1943, passed away peacefully on July 2nd, 2023, at the age of 80, in his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Bedford, Ohio and is a graduate of Bedford High School.

He is the son of the late Anthony & Helen Kainec.  He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Chris, his daughter Michele (Laura Visdos), sons Robert, Ryan (Angelique) and Russell.  He is also a grandfather to be. Richard is the stepbrother of Stephen Kainec, and the late Andrew Senkowski (Grace). He was also an Uncle and Great Uncle to many.

Member of Operating Engineers for 40 years, he also worked for Hukill Chemical for 20 years.

Richard handed down his passion for fishing to his children, nephews, and nieces.  He especially loved family gatherings and knowing that everyone was happy.

He will truly be missed.
