Richard J. Novak
Richard J. Novak, born February 1, 1956, died peacefully on October 17, 2021, aged 65.
Rich was a beloved husband of Cheri Polk; son of the late Valentine and Emma Novak; cherished brother of Beverly Gombarcik, Barbara (John) Dujan and the late Donald; loving Godfather and Uncle to Laura (Bobby) Symanski; uncle, great, and great-great-uncle to many nieces and nephews; and friend to many.
A Benedictine High School Alumnus, Class of 1975, he also excelled in his career as a Meat Cutter for Local 23 UFCW AFL-CIO for 47 years. With his recent retirement, Rich planned to golf, fish, and travel. He also loved watching the games of his lifelong home teams; the Browns, Cavs, Indians, and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
He will truly be missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 7:00 pm at Bain Cabin, 21077 N Park Drive, Fairview Park, OH 44126
Memorial Mass will be said on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 12:00 noon at Immaculate Conception Church, 4129 Superior Ave., Cleveland, OH 44103
