Richard Allen Schreckengost

Richard Allen Schreckengost passed away at home with dignity on October 9, 2023 with his wife and sons by his side.

Rick was born on February 22, 1953 to the late Walter and Virginia Schreckengost.  In addition to his parents Rick was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Duncan, his mother-in-law, Audrey Marshall and father-in-law, William Marshall.

Rick married Cynthia Marshall on August 6, 1976 and shared 47 very loving years together until his passing. Love You Always

Rick was the best Dad his sons, Rick Jr. (Tiara) and Dan could ever have and will be greatly missed.

In addition to cherish his memory are his loving extended family and friends.

Rick retired from Babcock & Wilcox Research Center as a Senior Lab Technician after 39 years of service.  He loved to play golf and enjoyed the yearly vacation trips to Myrtle Beach.

In keeping with Rick’s wishes cremation has already taken place and a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
