Rebecca Alexander, 79yrs

Maple Heights, Ohio

Born in Mississippi December 26, 1942.  Her life paused, passing away peacefully July 13, 2022. A dearly loved, loyal and true, cherished Mother. Grand and great. A cousin, friend, & sister even in faith. Rebecca became a widow. A servant of GOD, a Christian: one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Rebecca Alexander born December 26,1942 to Jessie Richmond and Ella Mae Pearson Richmond in Quitman County Mississippi. Rebecca Alexander became a wife the year of 1959 and a mother of 6 Children and a grandmother and was pleased to meet her great grandsons.  Rebecca was a trained Nurse for Metrohealth and retired from Cleveland Clinic health system as a Nursing Assistant.  Later in life she reached her goal obtaining her Diploma from Continental Academy and a Diploma as a Medical Assistant (Honor Roll student and she was excellent in math and of course in her medical courses).

Rebecca was a hardworking woman all her life, yes, from a little girl on up, as well as a caregiver.  Rebecca was an industrious woman (cleaning, fixing, sewing), who loved gardening and baking. Baking was a passion, a hobby that was a stress release from her secular work.  She was a good cook, too. Rebecca loved music, dancing, singing (she had a nice voice tho’ she didn’t think so) and enjoyed exercising in general.

Rebecca in her search for GOD and truth, decided to study the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses.  She decided to symbolize her dedication to GOD by being baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the 70s.  Rebecca became a devoted and loyal servant of GOD learning what it means to be a Christian.  She grew to learn what it meant to be a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a friend, etc.  Learning and growing into each role.  Rebecca learned life along the way, both with smiles and tears.  As life went on, it was not without many challenges of all kinds yet as likened to wine, she learned the “better of most ” in the passing of time.  Among her greatest of accomplishments that was of the most importance to her was making sure she stayed close to GOD, so she could be GOD’s friend.

Jehovah GOD, the Creator of the Universe, remembers his friends.  Jesus Christ showed that this was true.

John 5:25,28,29

Jesus Christ said:

Most truly I say to you, the hour is coming… and those who have paid attention will live.

Jesus Christ said:

John 15:14 You are my friends, if you do what I am commanding you.

Our ‘Momma’, ‘Jell’, ‘Becky’, ‘Sis. Alexander’, did

her

best in doing what the Christ commanded.

Yes, GOD remembers His’ friends.

No Services have been scheduled yet for her and her eldest son.
