A loving son, father, and brother, Raymond was also a devout follower of Christ and was an Ordained Minister both in California and Ohio. Raymond was pursuing his dream of becoming a traveling evangelist so that he could spread the love and word of Christ.

Raymond’s compassion for those around him was unwavering. Regularly, he would seek out those in times of struggle, so that he could provide words of encouragement, comfort, and support even amidst his own struggles. Raymond was the shot of light in the darkest of times. He could always be counted on to provide humor and positivity to all in within his reach. Often even putting his own needs aside for the sake of lifting those around him.

Raymond is survived by his Parents; Mom Lurene Jones, Stepmother Tonya Lane Jones, and Biological Father Dan (Shelia) Stroup. His Children; Kaiya Jones, Shada Jones, Nathaniel Jones, Faith Jones, Bobby Bruner, and Mya Johanyak. Siblings; Courtney (Michael) Santon, Bruce (Cara) Fanning, Brett (Sabrina) Jones, Wyatt Jones, Danny Stroup Jr., Hannah (Ryan) Baird, Luke Stroup, Rachel Paris, and Adam Stroup.

Raymond was proceeded in death by his father William “Jeffrey” Jones, Grandmother Ethel Mae Vandervort, Uncle Paul Douglas Tarbill, and Nephew Brayden James Santon.
