Raymond E. May Jr

Raymond E. May Jr 64 passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 8, 2022. Born on July 22, 1958, he was a lifelong resident of Canton, Ohio. Ray attended Canton City Schools and was a crane operator for 20 years at National Iron and Metal.  Ray enjoyed fishing and sports (especially the Cleveland Browns). He had a love for music. Ray was very sociable; he never met a stranger that didn’t become a friend. But most of all, he loved his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond E. May Sr. and Caroline (Ferry) May and grandson, William Pineda.

Raymond will be dearly missed by his four sisters, Peggy May, Joy May, Renee King, Tina (Ron) Parsons; five children, Linda May, Raymond (Holly) May III, Christina Mosteller, Melissa May and Joshua May; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held December 15, 2022 at 11:00a.m. at Heritage Cremation Society, 303 S. Chapel St., Louisville. Messages of comfort can be shared with the family online at
