Raymond A. Wayt Jr.

On November 20, 2019 Raymond A. Wayt Jr. of Sebring passed away surrounded by his loving family. Raymie was a marine veteran of Vietnam, owner and operator of American Engravers for 40 years, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. Raymie enjoyed many yearly fishing trips to Canada with the keg gang. If he wasn’t at the American Legion you could find him at the Sebring Country Club looking for bets. Raymie was an avid sports fan, he loved cheering for the Buckeyes, all Cleveland sports, Slippery Rock football, and anything his grandchildren played. Raymie was a local man, he loved the Sebring community and being a part of it. He coached little league baseball for many years.

Raymie is survived by his wife of 50 years Pat Wayt, children Joe (Tina) Lee, Pam (Red) Martin, Raymie Wayt III, brother Randy Wayt, sister Terry Jo Selick, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Anna Wayt and two sisters Patricia and Kathy.

In keeping with Raymie’s wishes, no public services are planned at this time. The family will be hosting a celebration of life at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made in Raymie’s name to The Sebring American Legion Youth Foundation, 395 West California Avenue, Sebring Ohio 44672.
