He was born March 7, 1941, in Memphis, Tennessee.
Ralph was retired from LTV Steel in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the founder and chief of The Golden Spoon catering company and the founder of Landscape Design company.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Evans) Peterson; children, Pamela Peterson Goosby, Ephren Peterson, Shawn Peterson Ginyard, Anthony Dobbins, Guame Jomo Peterson, and Nefertiti Hatsheput Peterson; 10 grandchildren.
Private services were held.
