Paul Nelson Richardson

Paul Nelson Richardson, 67, of Canton, Ohio passed away on Friday January 27, 2023 at Aultman Hospital. He was born November 7, 1955, and preceded in death by his parents Nelson and Maxine (Creighton) Richardson, and brother Craig Richardson.

Paul worked at MK Morse for 38 years and just recently retired in 2022. He loved to spend time with his family and work in his yard. Paul loved all things history, going to historic sites and watching old war movies. In his younger years he loved taking trips with all of his extended family to Holiday Valley to go snow skiing, going to Dayton, OH to the Wright-Patterson Air Force base, and trips to Columbus, OH. He also loved camping and boating at Salt Fork Lake, traveling with his wife, and finding the next beach to collect seashells from. His perfectly timed jokes, and slightly inappropriate humor were well known by his family and friends. His greatest joys in life were being called “Papa” by his 3 grandchildren, and learning that he had his first great grandchild on the way.

Paul is survived by his wife, Stacie (Hart); son, Mike Richardson(Kathi); 3 grandchildren, Abbi Bittinger(Kyler), Grace Richardson, Josh Richardson; sister, Cindy Froelich (Karl); 10 nieces and nephews, and 10 great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 11am at First Christian Church located at 6900 Market Ave N, North Canton, OH 44721. Paul’s favorite color was red, and in celebration of him, the family asks to dress casually and wear something red.
