Patrick J. Havens

Patrick J. Havens, 57, passed away November 7, 2014. He was born on December 24, 1956, the youngest son of the late Nolan E. and Marie C. (nee Ernstes) Havens. Patrick grew up in Indianapolis and graduated with an MBA from Indiana University. He moved to northeast Ohio in 1981 and received his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Patrick leaves behind his beloved wife of 23 years, Susan McNamee. He is survived by his siblings: Robert (Linda) Havens, P. Michael (Debbie) Havens, Nola (Thomas) Gregg, Walter (Joyce) Havens, Andrew (Mary Jo) Havens, Martha (Robert) Buckel, and many, many nieces and nephews of whom he was a great favorite. Patrick’s early retirement from the insurance accounting industry allowed him to pursue his love of travel with his wife, Susan, and to take annual ski trips with his brothers, as well as to bike, hike , and read voraciously. He will be sorely missed. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date.
