Patricia “Patti” A. (Daniels) Ehret age 73, of Canton, sadly passed away Thursday November 14, 2019. Born in Canton, Ohio on September 17, 1946. She was a devoted and loving mother that worked multiple service jobs throughout her life, her last being at Mary Ann Donuts. She was married to Arthur A. Dorkoff for 10 years and had three daughters then married briefly to George Ehret. She was a woman strong in her faith, and a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church until its closing. She had an angelic spirit, was extremely kind, loyal and selfless. Anyone would be accepted as the person they were with her. Her huge heart was obvious to all through the compassion and acceptance she demonstrated daily. She exhibited hope and comfort to her family, friends or even a stranger in need. You would never feel judged by this wonderful woman, only loved or appreciated. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, going on excursions or shopping. She collected many ‘treasures’ throughout her life including antiques, thimbles, Goebel figurines, turquoise jewelry, angels, snowmen and other various Knick knacks. Picking a Santa because of its face or a Fenton glassware piece for its color or artistry. It was the little details that others overlooked that she would find delight in. She was an extremely patient woman. A woman that took nothing for granted and immersed herself in the beauty of a moment. Her beautiful, free spirited and optimistic attitude was greatly appreciated and admired. She will be missed by all.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Cliff Blackburn of Perry Township; daughter, Stacy Dorkoff of Alliance; daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Casey Fogle of East Canton; her sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Jeff Zimmerman of Texas; her partner in love for the last 15 years, Budd Lees of Lodi; her grandchildren, Shawn Dorkoff, Kimmy Dorkoff, Abigail Alorda, Amber Blackburn, C.J. Blackburn, Alexis Fogle, Kyle Fogle, Sierra Blackburn; her nephew, Greg Zimmerman; her niece, Julia Brian; and her great- grandchildren, Temperence Hattie, Skye Austin, and Braylen Hitchings.
Patti was preceded in her death by her mother and father, Harry and Betty (Essig) Daniels.
