Pamela Shreve

June 17, 1950 — August 16, 2023

Akron

Pamela Jean Shreve went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023. Her beloved husband, Tom, greeted her in Heaven, along with her parents and her precious son, Eric.

Pam was born in Elyria on June 17th, 1950, to the late Ralph and Della Shreve and was a lifelong area resident. She worked as an optician tech at Kent Optometrics and loved to do ministry with children with her church family at Middlebury Chapel in Akron. She was known for her contagious laughter, her tender care for family members and friends, and her deep devotion to her Savior, Jesus Christ.  Pam especially loved family gatherings when she was surrounded by friends and family.

She is survived by her son, Joe Godfrey (Judi), her daughter, Julie Godfrey Cornish (Paul), and her grandsons, Jake Godfrey and Jonah Godfrey Cornish, along with two sisters, two brothers, and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

Pam’s memorial service will take place at Faith Bible Church at 126 W. Overdale Drive in Tallmadge, Ohio, on Saturday,  September 9th, at noon.  Visitation will take place 30 minutes before the service, and lunch will be at the church after.

Memorial contributions may be made to Compassion International, Colorado Springs, 80997, or online at Compassion.com. Condolences and special memories of Pam can be shared with her family online at www.heritagecremationsociety.com
