Nancy Ellen (Dickey) Linder, age 77 of Louisville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on August 12, 2023 at her residence with family by her side. She was born on January 8, 1946 and lived most of her life in Louisville. She graduated from Alliance High School and worked as an LPN at various facilities over the years. She was a HUGE Elvis fan since she shared his birthday. She also loved her country style and music (especially Alan Jackson) and enjoyed line dancing at the Dusty Armadillo, Foltz Center and Eagles. In addition, she enjoyed vacationing and was an avid animal lover. She was known as “The Queen” by a select few special friends.
She is survived by her sons: Carl R. Linder (Kelly Brady) of Louisville and Todd M. Linder (Laura) of Hilliard; and 3 grand dogs: Brutus, Buckeye and Scarlett. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard E. and Alice D. Dickey, brother, Norman E. Dickey and a granddaughter, Olivia G. Linder.
There will be no calling hours. A celebration of life will be held in the chapel at Highland Memorial Park on August 25, 2023 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society in her honor.
