Monika Jacklitch

Monika (Peterson) Jacklitch passed away on October 4, 2023.  Monika was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 30, 1967. She is survived by her husband Gary – whom she was married to for 34 wonderful years, son, Shawn (Tori), and granddaughter, Corinne. Monika is also survived by her parents, Aina & Paul McHugh, brothers, Ron (Lori) Peterson and Kurt Peterson; and many nieces and nephews.

Monika had an unwavering love for her family and friends; always putting everyone else before herself and making everyone feel like part of her family. An excellent cook, Monika was known for providing the best appetizers and dips for parties.

Thanks to the staff and nurses at MetroHealth for providing wonderful care to her in her final days here with us.

Per Monika’s wishes, there will be no services and she will be cremated. A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and close friends.  Condolences and special memories of Monika can be shared with her family online at www.heritagecremationsociety.com
