
Mitsuko Tabler age 74, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Pines Healthcare
Center surrounded by family. She fought a long hard battle with an extended illness. She was
born in Akishima, Tokyo Japan to Naka and Unski Yunome on January 2nd, 1949. She is
preceded in death by her sisters Setsuko and Kikue “Yunome” Charles Schmidt. Mitsuko is
survived by her three children Tiffany Tabler (Dan Ward), Raymond Tabler, and Tina Tabler.
Mitsuko is also survived by her grandchildren Maddie and Nadia Ward. Mitsuko was an
excellent cook, could crochet anything, and she enjoyed watching WWE. She was a great
mother and a caring and nurturing person. She was of Buddhist faith. She also cherished all of
her pets, including her Jack Russell Terrier named Patch, who meant the world to her. Per
Mitsuko’s wishes, there will be no services and she will be cremated. A memorial celebration of
life will be held at a later date for family and close friends. Thanks to the staff and nurses at the
Pines Healthcare Center for providing wonderful care to our mother.
