Michelle Elaine Kurek was called home to her eternal resting place on September 13, 2023. Born on April 1, 1961, to Joretta and Robert (deceased) Wilson in Cleveland, Ohio

Devoted wife to Jim Kurek of Brunswick, Ohio.  Beloved mother of Micheal Eckardt (Tara Sudenga).  Loving sister of Bob (deceased) and Steve (Caroline) Wilson.  Dear Stepmom to Jim (Lisa) Kurek and Ashley Blea Kurek.  Loving Grandma to James and Raelyn.

Michelle loved visiting the Cleveland Zoo and taking long walks in the Cleveland Metroparks.  Nothing was more important to Michelle than her family.  She loved cooking and baking. To know her was to love her.  She had the gift of making everyone around her feel special.  Her beautiful smile was so genuine and contagious.  Ten words to describe Michelle: Affectionate, Compassionate, Beautiful, Devoted, Dependable, Spiritual, Sensible, Playful, Unselfish and Understanding.

A celebration of life will take place on October 14, 2023, at the Columbia Ballroom.  24883 Royalton Road, Columbia Station, Ohio 44028.  Please feel free to join us at any time between the hours of 4:00 – 8:00 pm.  Donations can be made on her behalf to the Susan G.
