Matthew Michael Broestl

Matthew, 34, passed away suddenly on November 15th due to heart complications. He will be missed everyday by his father, Michael, his mother, Julie (Konopka), his brothers, Andrew and Ben, his grandmother, Rita, A.K.A. “Gee”, as well as his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is now with his grandparents, Joan and John Konopka, and Edward Broestl, A.K.A. “Geepa”.

A memorial mass will be held at Saint Albert the Great Church on Friday, November 29th at 10:00 am.

A kind and gentle soul, with a brain somehow even bigger than his heart, he could dazzle with knowledge or warm with his infectious, quirky laugh. He took pride in his cooking and gardening, as well as Cleveland’s often frustrating sports teams. But really, he loved his family the most and wasn’t shy to show it. We have no doubt, as Matt will surely talk his way into Heaven.
