Marylou B. Lantz (nee Ivec), 77, was born on September 14, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2023 in Willoughby, Ohio of natural causes. Marylou was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Alberta Ivec, beloved husband, Bradford Lantz, and sister, Susanne Myers.
She is survived by her daughters, Tiffany (Dustin) Zemar and Lacey Lantz; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen Ivec (Wade Larkin) and Theresa (Edward) Fitzgerald.
Marylou and Brad were foster parents for many years and helped several children, some of which they continued relationships with into their adulthood. She was a waitress for many years and loved to play Bingo and Yahtzee.
There will be a gathering for family and friends to honor Marylou at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens (Chesterland, OH) on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum of Eternal Peace.
