Marylou (Mary) Cotto was born in Rochester, Ny on May 14,1972. She passed away unexpectedly in her home March 12th 2023 at the tender age of 50. Mary was born to Carlos Pedraza Cotto and Donna Jean Cotto.
Mary was a very hard worker. She was a caregiver to many in her life. Mary had previously worked with disabled residents. She enjoyed being a caregiver to those in need. Mary has worked many jobs over her lifetime, including working as a housekeeper most recently.
She believed in The Lord and tried her best to follow the path she felt The Lord was leading her. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, especially when she was making them with her grandchildren. She loved her animals and her 49ers. She had such a big personality for such a tiny and petite person. In her words- The best things come in small packages. She will be forever loved and forever missed.
In addition to her mother; Donna Jean Cotto, she is also preceded in death by her older sister Rosa Tucker and her brother-in law Brian Dexter.
She is survived by her daughters, Conchetta and Chantell Cotto and only son D’Angelo Cotto. Her grandchildren, whom she adored; Tristan, Kaden, Semira, Isabella, Na’Liah and Caylee. Her older sisters Karla Cotto and Jeannette Dexter. Her nieces; Tiffany Herring and Brittany Cotto. Nephews; Brian Jr, Bobby, Josh, Jeremie and Mark. And a host of great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home on Thursday March 16, 2023, from 2-3pm with a service immediately following.
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint” -Isaiah 40:31
“So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you” -John 16:22
