She was a 1961 graduate of Tallmadge High School and attended Kent State University majoring in Art. She worked at Goodyear Tire in Akron. She was quite the artist, and for many years designed Family Crests. As a young girl, her artwork was featured in the Akron Beacon Journal’s Sunday paper. She drew many portraits of friends and families and even designed her own comic character.  Mary Ann taught Sunday School at Our Lady of Victory Church.

Mary Ann was the proud mother of her twins, Tracy Super and Stacy Talhadas.  She was very saddened by the loss of her granddaughter, Emma, in 2010.   Mary Ann enjoyed her grandchildren, Daniel and Chloe, Tracy’s children and Aurea, Ben, Alex and Georgie, Stacy’s children.  Her seven surviving siblings will also miss her quick wit, friendly smile and appreciative attitude.

A mass will be said in her honor on Sunday, June 17
