Martha (Drake) White Lepkowski, 85, of Tallmadge, passed away peacefully the evening of June 23

rd

, 2021. She was born May 20

th

, 1936 in Columbus, Ohio to William R. Drake and Wanda (Mackan) Drake; she lived her early childhood years in Columbus and Delaware, Ohio. Martha had many cherished memories of growing up in Magnetic Springs, Ohio. Martha graduated from Willis High School in Delaware and attended The Ohio State University where she met her husband, Robert L. White (Bob). Together, they became the parents of Perry and Polly White. Martha lived in Akron where she assisted her husband with Arle Whyte Art and Frame Shop. After Bob’s death in 1988, Martha enjoyed spending time with her children. Later, she married John W. Lepkowski. Martha is remembered as a loving, devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and mother-in-law who brought love and laughter to all who knew her. She was an amazingly strong woman who conquered life’s adversities with grace and dignity. She was a member of Tallmadge United Methodist Church, and enjoyed singing, arts, sewing, crafting, and, most of all, playing cards and games with family and friends.

Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Robert White; son, Perry White; daughter, Polly Ferris; and husband, John Lepkowski.

Martha is survived by sisters, Mary Conger and Julia (William) Gossard; son-in-law, Vince Ferris; granddaughter of the heart, Mikayla Kirn; nieces and nephews, Nancy (Bruce McConnell) Farmer, Jim (Teresa) Billingsley, Beth (Scott) Bender, Susan (Dan) Miceli, Ted (Terri) Gossard, Dan Gossard; and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

A graveside memorial will be held Tuesday, July 13

, 2021 at 1p.m. at Chestnut Hills Memorial Park Cemetery: 2613 Sackett Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223.
