Margaret M. (Dennehy) Price
Margaret M. (Dennehy) Price was born January 3, 1929 in Mt. Rath, Ireland and passed away June 25, 2016 at the age of 87. Upon emigrating from England with her husband Frederick in 1954, Margaret was a lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio. After husband Fred passed in 1972, Margaret passed her state boards for nursing. Margaret then became a surgical nurse at Brentwood Hospital in Warrensville Heights for the better part of 21 years while raising her children Chris and Kevin. Margaret was involved with the swimming program at Southeast YMCA in Maple Heights and the swimming program at Bedford recreation department. Many young boys and girls learned how to swim because of Margaret. An amazing seamstress, Margaret created the wedding dress for her daughter-in-law Candy, and also for numerous other young ladies.
In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher (Susannah) and Kevin (Candy); grandchildren, Brittany, Sean, Kelley, Amy, Mary, Hannah and Evan; great-grandchildren, Emrick and Gavin and lifelong friend, Robert.
A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held Friday July 1, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 10503 Valley View Road in Northfield, Ohio 44067.
