Margaret Bole (Spahn, Neiswinter)

Margaret Ann “Maggie” Bole,79, passed away on January 6, 2020. She was born February 12, 1940, to the late Thomas and Margaret Spahn in Niles, Ohio.

Maggie and her husband Ken loved buying and selling antiques, they traveled Ohio for many years looking for bargains to resell at Antiques on the Square in Chardon, Ohio.

Maggie was an avid gardener and could turn the most sickly plants into thriving, blossoming beauties. Like her father, she grew hardy tomato plants which would provide an abundance of fruit long after most plants in the area had died. Mom loved saving and gathering seeds for sunflowers plants giant and small for the next seasons planting. She loved butterfly bushes and any plant that would attract and feed butterflies. By the middle of summer, the back yard would be a thriving jungle of plants and vegetables worthy of any garden magazine.

Maggie was a dedicated Cleveland sports fan carrying her portable radio with her while gardening so she would not miss a minute of any game.

Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, brother Thomas Spahn and loving dogs Flash and Bear.

Maggie is survived by her husband and best friend of 34 years, Kenneth Bole; children, Debrah Sebastian, Diane Neiswinter, George T.
