Lee Cain

March 12, 1948 — October 30, 2023

Ravenna

Lee Cain, my Soulmate, wife, lover, my other half, however you would like to define a relationship that was meant to be crossed over on October 30, 2023 at 9:58 P.M. at home while I held her hand. We always joked that God evidently meant for us to be together, after all we had three kids, Thomas Lee, Richard Lee and Brandi Lee. The reason I say God meant us to be together is that Brandi was given the middle name Lee, seven years before I ever met Lee, so somehow my two stepsons and my daughter, (Lee’s stepdaughter) all got the same middle name.

She loved to dance and used to tell me the story of how her Dad taught her to dance standing on his toes. We danced for 20 years together after she finally convinced me to learn, her other passion was gardening, specifically flowers. It was my job to dig the holes she would tell me where and how deep then plant beautiful gardens.

She was born Lee Robinson on March 12, 1948 and passed away at home on October 30, 2023 while I was holding her hand with just a whisper. She attended Akron Garfield High School and graduated as a member of the class of 1966.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Robinson, mother, Maxine McGraw, stepfather, Carl McGraw, all her grandparents, aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her loving husband and soulmate, Steve; brothers, Bill and Dave (Marla) Robinson, and Paul McGraw; sons, Thomas Lee Alleshouse, Richard Lee Alleshouse; stepdaughter, Brandi Lee Freed; granddaughters, Whitney Alleshouse, Journey Alleshouse, Lilith Freed, Alexis Deeken, Willow Freed; far too many nieces and nephews to list, and so many people who loved her.

A remembrance get together will be held in our home on Sunday, November 12, 2023 starting at 3:00 until whenever. Completely informal, bring your favorite beverage and a snack if you desire. Tell stories, share memories, share photos, cry do whatever you wish, but Lee is free and can dance with her Daddy again.
