Lee Allen Thomas, 56 of Toledo, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born in Toledo to the late Carl L. and Cleo (Hathaway) Thomas.
Lee loved helping people, rescuing broken down family and friends. He loved all his pets and taking in strays. Lee enjoyed spending time with his two best friends, Chris, and John, and tinkering with anything that had an engine or lights.
He was a loving spouse, that cherished the love of his life, Violet. Although he had no children, Lee was a father to a few, and a great friend to many.
Lee is survived by his significant other of 37 years, Violet Burns; sons, Fred Shirk, Jerry Shirk, Larry Shirk, and Joey Shirk; a daughter, Sherry Styer; nieces, Carla McLaughlin, Shelly Baily, Amber Thomas, and Katie Thomas; nephews, John Thomas, Jr., Dallas Cox, Jr., and Carl Thomas.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lou Thomas, and John Thomas, Sr and a sister, Connie Thomas.
