Laurie Anne Hamilton

Laurie Anne Hamilton age 71 of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away August 14, 2021. Laurie was a light in our midst, full of God’s love and compassion. A prayer warrior, loving mother, passionate sister, warm hearted aunt, faithful friend, once a dedicated wife, a proud adoring Nana; and most of all a daughter of the Most High. Her love for her family was only second to her love for her Savior and Lord. Laurie also “served the least of these” as unto the Lord. Children loved Laurie and she loved them. Many years of taking care of children in her home to being a mom to children in our community through her church’s children ministries. She was a poet and loved to dance and enjoyed being in musicals. Her laugh is infectious so much so, she once got kicked out of an establishment, from laughing too loud and long! She endured much physical pain yet was always willing to support someone else.

Survived by sister, Sherry (John) Hayes; children, Kristen (Paul) Eley, Sean Hamilton, Colleen (Jonathan) Prenosil; and grandchildren, Josiah, Hamilton, Lucas and William

2 Timothy 4:6-8 “For I have already been poured out like a drink offering, and the time is come for my departure. I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day – and not only me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 21, 10 to 11a.m. with services immediately following at Holy Spirit Anglican Church, 1446 S. Main St, Akron, OH 44301.
