Kathleen Hollis Miklovic

Kathleen Hollis Miklovic, 76, of Mount Gilead , OH, passed away on August 1, 2023, at Oakhill Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Louisville, Ohio, following prolonged health complications. She was born to parents, Earl and Virginia (Brazie) Kuchta, on  March 22, 1947 in Berea, OH.  She graduated from Valley Forge  High School in 1965 and worked as a Floral Designer for 30 years, along with selling Tupperware and Avon. Kathleen  met Ralph Miklovic  in 1965 when she and her mother went to visit her dad, Earl, at work . Ralph asked Earl if he could date his daughter.  Kathy and Ralph were married on June 24, 1967 in Parma Heights, OH. Together they raised a daughter, Patricia Solinger.   Kathy was known for loving animals. She and Ralph fed the wildlife in the wooded backyard of their dream log home. Kathy loved cats and had many throughout her life. She was a proud dog grandma and made numerous craft items out of the ribbons that the dogs were awarded. She loved and was wonderful at decorating, cooking, baking, sewing and embroidery.

Kathleen  is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Tricia and Mark Solinger, sister-in-law, Marlene Lewis, brother-in-law, David Lewis and nephew Michael Lewis (Mary Lynn).

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Ralph Miklovic, her parents, and aunts Lazella Gollwitzer, Carmita Brazie and Beverly Brazie.
