Katelyn Rebecca Bailey
Katelyn Rebecca Bailey age 21, passed away on November 5, 2020.
She was the daughter of Paul (Ann) Bailey and of Melissa (Jeff) Bailey Jarboe (nee Hinkle). Surviving are her brothers Connor Bailey and Andrew Ivanovics; sisters Ashley (Johnny) Jarboe Abdul-Karim and Aimee (Grant Vraja) Jarboe; dear “Aunt Kiki” of Carter and Ashton; grandparents Patricia Shaw Hinkle, James and Nancy Hinkle, and Jack Bailey. She is preceded in death by loving grandma Yvonne Bailey and loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kate was born at Fairview General Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio on April 9, 1999 and was a graduate of Olmsted Falls High School where she was a cheerleader, a member of the concert choir and a competitive dance team member. Currently a student at the University of Akron, she was majoring in social work and hoped to work with those less fortunate in society.
She was a beautiful woman with a contagious laugh who never failed to make us smile. A free spirit full of light, she was always ready for adventure and wanted to experience everything. Kate was so young and had so much to offer to the world. We will miss her for the rest of our lives. Her soul is where the sun is shining!
Kate had a deep love for all animals, especially her rescue cat LuLu. In her memory, contributions may be made to the
