In loving memory of Kálmán Takács, who passed away on December 26th at the age of 97. Originally from Hungary, he courageously emigrated to the United States following the 1956 Hungarian Revolution.
A devoted husband to the late Anna, Kálmán leaves behind a lasting legacy embraced by his daughter Anna Maria Gyorky (Joseph) and son Bela Bakai (Sherrill Casey). He was a cherished grandfather to Judy, Joseph, and John.
Kálmán was the beloved brother of the late Edit Korzenszky and Janos Takacs. He also leaves behind a loving extended family, including niece Wanda Trummer, nephew Laszlo Korzenszky, niece Judit Korzenszky and their children.
Remembered as a diligent and caring man, Kálmán's love for family was unwavering. His passions extended beyond, as he was an accomplished hunter, avid outdoorsman, and a competitive skeet and trap shooter who earned numerous medals.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the American Hungarian Friends of Scouting or Saint Emeric Roman Catholic Church. Kálmán Takács will be deeply missed, and his spirit will forever resonate within the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
