Judy E. Bowers

Judy E. Bowers (54) of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2021, surrounded by family. She was born on December 24, 1966, in Columbus, OH. In her earlier years, Judy worked at the Columbus Convention Center before becoming a stay-at-home Mother. Growing up, Judy learned & was raised in the Church. She, and her family, have been Jehovah’s Witnesses for multiple decades. Judy’s greatest loves were her family, friends, and watching sports & classic movies.

She is preceded in death by parents, Richard Bowers & Thelma Westbrook; Brothers, Richard Bowers Jr. & Gregory Bowers; Sisters, Jacqueline Bowers & Bertha Ann Mills; Long-time partner; Donald Thorington.

Judy is survived by sisters; Lucinda Hall, Diane Clayborn, Tissy Westbrook, Shawntia Westbrook; brothers; Frederick (Liea) Bowers, Byron (Candy) Bowers, & Nathaniel (Zaun) Bowers; children, Brandon Bowers, Joseph Bowers, Donald Houston (Mckenzie), Antonio Bowers-Marietta, Dyjon Bowers-Stoneking, & Passion Stoneking. Judy is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Judy was truly a beam of light, who was loved by so many. She’ll always be remembered for her loving spirt & kindness. Throughout her life, she displayed a tremendous amount of strength, battling dialysis for over 20 years. Those who knew her, know that Judy is no longer in pain & no longer suffering.

There will be a Celebration of Life service, for Judy & her immediate family members, that will take place on Sunday, October 3
