10 Tributes to Joseph Carl Wollam III

  1. Celeste Fernandez says:

You can’t just share a memory about Joe because every time spent with Joe he made very special and for the boys and I really really loved hearing all his stories about his horses and when he played his sliding trombone. He said he really enjoyed the ride with Wendy in AZ. The boys and I really enjoyed hearing when he would talk about the resurrection what he would do when he would see his Dad again all the details about it. Best of all I would always look forward to a hug from Joe and I look forward to getting another in paradise just around the corner

    • Elaine "Laney" Rankin Nemenz Harris says:

Joe sang at my wedding 48 years ago, The Prayer of God’s Servant. He and Carol have been loving and supportive friends for nearly 50 years.
I was Joe’s piano accompanist when he sang and played trombone to the song ,”I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face” for Tim Denny’s and LaVerna Dowd’s wedding reception in 1975 as they continued in Bethel Service … on into special pioneering to this day. We all have memories of such good times. Plenty of laughter, Joe’s exuberant tone and Carol’s supportive chuckles.
My favorite memory of the kids was one day bringing Wendy home from after-school public ministry to see Chip on Joe’s lap in the recliner while Joe read him a Bible story.
